Employers Asking for Facebook Log-ins and Passwords

Last Friday March 25th Facebook issued a statement to employers that asking for Facebook logins and passwords of their employees could result in them getting a lawsuit. It seems that lately many employers have been trying to get into people's Facebook accounts to obtain more information about them. It is reported that some universities are also hiring people to friend certain people on Facebook and follow what they read and write on it.

Certain people have actually given away their login and the password just so they can keep their job.

This problem poses the social issue of privacy regarding information technology.  It is not right for future employees of any business to feel obligated to give out this private information. Now obviously Facebook is handling this very well but to me it's appalling that this issue even came up in the first place. Anyway I just thought I'd let you guys know about this issue.
